A new BMW project was unveiled by BMW Abu Dhabi. The Middle East-based dealership has made a habit out of producing high-quality and exciting tuning projects based on BMW production-series models. The center piece of this story today is a BMW M2 Coupe painted in Alpine White. The super sporty coupe takes its sporty look one step further with AC Schnitzer Aerodynamic Body kit, which ensures that the looks of the are taken to a new level of sportiness.
The aero kit comprises of a carbon fiber front splitter, paired with carbon fiber side wings which help with the aerodynamics of the car. Carbon fiber mirror wings are now the norm on any BMW, so this M2 makes no exception. In the back, the M2 stands proud with a large carbon fiber racing boot wing which helps improve downforce on the track.
A carbon fiber rear diffuser has also been fitted to the M2 and it’s being matched with an AC Schnitzer custom made Sports Exhaust System with matte black quad-tips.
No AC Schnitzer project would be completed without the addition of a sports suspension. Fully height-adjustable, with compression and rebound setting and lowering by 30 – 40 mm, the system is designed for both relaxed cruising and for fast cornering and sprints. The AC Schnitzer suspension spring kit, with lowering by 25 – 30 mm at the front and 15 – 20 mm at the rear, also provides maximum driving stability.
The dealership has been quiet about the power upgrade, but from previous projects we know that the AC Schnitzer program offers a software mapping that brings the total power output to 420 horsepower, from the standard 365 hp.
