The 2011 Geneva Motor Show will host the world premiere of the new MINI Cooper SD. Equipped with the N47 turborcharged diesel engine, the Cooper SD delivers 143 horsepower and has a top speed of 135 mph.
In standard configuration, the engine is matted to a manual transmission which features Stop/Start technology. An automatic gearbox will be available as well. Preliminary fuel consumption numbers show an impressive figure, 66 mpg.
MINI Cooper SD will be available as a hatch , Convertible , Clubman and Countryman and Countryman ALL4.
Information around pricing and options will be revealed near the Geneva Motor Show.
