The cat is out of the bag. Auto Forum CZ has just leaked the first photos of the BMW i8 Spyder.
A rumored cabriolet version of the BMW i8 was floating around the interwebs since 2011 and through our channels we learned late last year that BMW was looking into creating a variant of the i8 that will further validate the market for the hybrid sportscar. The i8 Spyder will run on the same platform as the i8.
And yes, the gull-wing doors are still there.
