Akrapovic, the Slovenian manufacturer of exhaust systems, showcased in Paris their Akrapovic Evolution Line Titanium exhaust for the new BMW M6 Coupe. The upgraded exhaust system provides increased acoustics, more power, and weighs less.
The 4.4 liter V8 engine gains 10 hp at 5,950 rpm and 17 Nm (12.5 lb-ft) at 5,200 rpm, producing 571.5 hp and 739 Nm (545 lb-ft). The Akrapovic exhaust system is 12.3 kg (27.1 lbs) lighter than the stock one.
The Evolution exhaust system for F12 M6 consists of newly developed dual-outlet mufflers with exhaust valves, flow-optimized pipes, and a unique cast titanium X-shaped part with resonators. The X-pipe, valves, and flange assembly are produced in our foundry. The polished titanium and aerospace-grade carbon fiber tail pipes are completing the package.
