The BMW 3 Series GT was spied in Munich, fully unveiled, during a commercial photoshoot. The car is due to be unveiled in the next few weeks, but the image below show us the final design.
Furthermore, the car shown here features the sporty M Sport Package with M Performance Brakes. In the fenders we see for the first time a functional vent. At the front end, the F34 3 Series GT mimics the design language seen on the F30 3 Series Sedan with the headlights flowing into the kidney grille.
The 3er GT come with a hatch as seen on the 5 GT and raised ride height, and has a high belt line that completely wraps around the car, therefore giving the roof a sleeker look. While not shown here, we learned that the F34 3 Series GT will feature a retractable rear spoiler as an active aerodynamic component.
The engine options are inherited from the 3 Series Sedan, with a 335i GT top model. All will be mated to an eight-speed automatic gearbox as standard.
While not officially confirmed, we believe that the 3 Series GT will debut in March at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show.
