Active Autowerke has heard the requests from owners of the newest generation F30 BMW 328i, and has responded with their latest exhaust upgrade. The direct-injected 4-cylinder N20 offers a solid platform on which to build a seriously potent machine, and Active Autowerke has designed a rear section muffler that delivers style, sound, and performance.
Gains of 9 RWHP and 13 LB-FT of torque on an otherwise 100% stock 2013 328i were generated on the Active Autowerke in-house Mustang Dyno.
After nearly 6 months of continuous research and development, F30 328i owners can finally purchase an exhaust option that meets their expectations of power, quality, and reliability. The Active Autowerke Signature F30 BMW 328i exhaust is a cat-back rear exhaust, offering the end-user a range of customization options. The muffler’s rear exhaust tips are available in two configurations.
Two 80mm adjustable tips that can either be staggered, or mounted evenly in their length is the first choice. The versatility continues, as the F30 328i muffler can conversely be ordered incorporating a 140mm single oval tip for even sportier performance and sound. Fit and finish is excellent, with the ability to easily center either exhaust tip option, and achieve the clearance desired.
