After the XD3 Biturbo surprise shown in Geneva, ALPINA is preparing another exciting project. Based on the BMW 6 Series Gran Coupe, the ALPINA B6 Biturbo Gran Coupe is scheduled to debut this fall at the 2013 Frankfurt Auto Show. The drivetrain of the B6 Biturbo Gran Coupe is inherited from the other B6 models: a 540 horsepower twin-turbo V8 paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission.
ALPINA will offer the B6 Biturbo Gran Coupe with both a rear-wheel drive and all-wheel drive setup. The Buchloe alternative to the BMW M6 Gran Coupe comes with the usual aggressive styling and luxurious look and feel all around. The customized interior once again shows the level of craftsmanship achieved by the small automaker with a focus on comfort.
While the M6 Gran Coupe is limited to 305 km/h, the B6 Gran Coupe will most likely run free with a top speed of 208 mph (334 km/h).
The base price is expect to fall somewhere between 125,000 and 130,000 Euros.
