BMWBLOG had the pleasure of visiting the California-based tuner European Auto Source and touring their facility before Bimmerfest 2013. They were busy getting things ready for the show, but they graciously took time out of their day to show us around and answer questions. There were noticeably more products in the warehouse than when we visited them back in 2011, so operations are expanding as their reputation grows within the BMW community. Additionally, their M3 project for Bimmerfest 2013 has been improved even more than last year, with the addition of an ESS VT2-625 supercharger, new prototype intake runners, and a stunning set of Volk TE37SL Black Editions. Also, their Z4M has been upgraded with an ESS kit as well. For Bimmerfest 2013 they were working on applying decals to the Z4M during my visit. Besides these two outstanding project cars for the event, they were all busy with taking customers on the phone and shipping orders out, so EAS is a very active place. They also have an in-house dyno system for accurate measuring and fine-tuning the powerband of their customers’ cars. Their inventory is very comprehensive, with a wide array of parts in stock and ready to ship to their clients.
