Ahead of its October 25th unveil, the BMW M235i shows up again on the interwebs. The photos seem to be taken from a dealer presentation and they can give us a decent look at the interior design of the new 2 Series, as well as the design of the taillights.
High-res photos will follow in the next days which will reveal one of the best looking BMWs in the current lineup.
The top of the line mode, the BMW M235i, is powered by a 3.0 liter six-cylinder N55 TwinPower engine which also outputs 450 NM of torque between 1300 and 4500 RPM. Top speed is limited to 250 km/h.
From 0 to 62 mph (100 km/h), the BMW M235i with manual transmission runs in 5.0 seconds while the 8-speed automatic is 4.8 seconds.
BMW M235i weighs 3207 lbs (1455 kg) with the manual transmission and 3240 lbs (1470 kg) with the 8speed automatic transmission.
The new 2 Series will incorporate in its family the coupe and convertible models, and a potential Gran Coupe variant. At the entry-level, we expect to see 220d, 218i or 225i models. BMW will most likely get the 228i model and the M235i. Other variants might follow in the future.
