Ahead of its Detroit Auto Show debut, the Lexus RC F Coupe has its world premiere on the interwebs. The LFA-inspired RC F Coupe builds atop the IS sedan but with a noticeably more aggressive styling.
Though more details will be available when the RC F Coupe is unveiled to the public, the initial specs are promising. Design wise, the super sporty Lexus will take on the BMW M4 Coupe with an equally aggressive look and stance, the oversized front grille gives the car a muscular and massive look, while the LFA-inspired active rear wing offers additional traction and stability. The RC F Coupe also features air outlets on the sides and angle-stacked exhaust outlets at the rear of the car.
Three variations of 10-spoke 19-inch forged aluminum wheels are available, including two machine polished designs and one design hand polished by a craftsman.
Inside the RC F comes with performance bucket front seats, sporty steering wheel, and a reconfigurable gauge cluster.
Under the hood lays a naturally-aspirated 5.0 liter V8 engine producing 480 horsepower sent to the rear wheels via an eight-speed automatic transmission.
The all-new RC F will be revealed at a press conference at the 2014 North American International Motor Show in W-152, formerly known as the Riverview Ballroom, at Cobo Center Jan. 14 at 8:45 am EST.
