Via Facebook, BMW M released today the first photos of the new BMW M4 Safety Car for the 2014 MotoGP. We can now have a look at the newest member of the M family in full safety car outfit, and of course with a design in the ///M colors.
With the safety car BMW uses the M4 Coupe not just for advertising of their regular model, but alto to showcase the in-house tuning program.
Consequently, the BMW M4 Safety Car is upgraded with accessory parts and wearing appropriate lettering on front apron, side skirts and rear end. There are also the diffuser, the rear spoiler and attachments for the front skirt made of lightweight carbon fiber.
Just like the other BMW M Safety Cars, we assume that at least the exhaust system has been adapted for use in motor sport environment.
The first public performance will be at the MotoGP season opener in Qatar, but the M4 Safety Car might appear at the BMW Welt after that as well.
