At the 2014 Geneva Motor Show, BMW brought out one of their most exclusive and expensive automobiles. The BMW Individual 760Li Sterling inspired by ROBBE & BERKING. ROBBE & BERKING was designed by BMW Individual Manufaktur and ROBBE & BERKING, one of the most tradition-steeped silver manufacturers of our day.
The kidneys, the side trim elements with a V12 lettering, decorative strip at the rear, the model designation “760Li” and the tailpipe are made of silver, as is typical for Robbe & Berking. The BMW roundel on the bonnet and on the trunk are also made of solid 925 sterling silver. As a contrast to the silver-elements, the exterior paint chosen was Singapore Gray.
Access to the internal space is given via the door handles crafted in Martelé technique clips from sterling silver. Silver-plated door sill finishers with Robbe & Berking lettering are present as well. All interior trim is made of pure 925 sterling silver.
Rounding out the extremely fine impression of the BMW Individual program is the fine-grain Merino full leather trim in Amaro Brown with edging in Opal White.
