The F80 BMW M3 Sedan in Yas Marina Blue was spotted on U.S. soil. The folks at CarNinja were tipped off on the existence of an F80 M3 Sedan nearby and managed to snap some photos of the Yas Marina-painted M3.
Two new colors are also introduced for the new M3 and M4: Yas Marina Blue Metallic and Austin Yellow Metallic. The other exterior colors for the M3 and M4 are: Alpine White, Mineral Grey Metallic, Black Sapphire Metallic, Silverstone Metallic and Mineral White Metallic.
Since it starts on a smaller track (the F30), the F80 M3 has a width of 1877 mm versus 1870 mm for the M4, and furthermore, the rear-end features a wider bodykit to bring it to the same dimensions as the M4.
The new M3 and M4 use a 3.0 liter turbocharged engine that produces 430 HP and 560 Nm (413 lb-ft) of torque. The car weighs under 1,500 kg (3,300 lbs). From 0-100 km/h (0-62), the 2014 BMW M4 runs in 4.1 seconds with DCT while the M3 runs the same distance in 4.3 seconds, with the same transmission.
The F80 2015 BMW M3 Sedan will cost $62,000 and 2015 BMW M4 has a base price $64,200. Destination and handling is $925. The two M brothers will go on sale in summer of this year.
