While in Portugal to test drive the new BMW M3 and M4 Coupe, we decided to put to good use the GoPro Hero 3 cameras we had with us paired with our Shure FP Wireless System.
We installed the little but potent cameras on the steering wheel column, placed the Shure Wireless Lavalier inside the cabin and revved up and down the powerful S55 engine.
The video below will give you an idea on how the engine sounds from inside the cabin, 98% real as BMW said earlier this week.
During our two days of test driving the M3 and M4, both on track and back roads, we came out quite impressed with the new S55 engine as well as with the raspy and fairly loud exhaust system. More on this in a new test drive review following our earlier one.
