World known racing video author NM2255 has recorded some footage showcasing a BMW M235i Racing Car at the Nürburgring. The sound coming from the racing exhaust is crisp, powerful and produces a nice sound effect on shifting and downshifting. The footage below also shows us how good the 3.0-liter BMW M PerformanceTwinPower Turbo engine sounds in the M235i Racing car, giving us hope for the upcoming BMW M2.
The six-cylinder in-line engine with M Performance TwinPower Turbo technology generates maximum output of 240 kW/326 hp and accelerates the BMW M235i Coupe from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 5.0 seconds. With the BMW M235i Racing the power output is at 333 horserpower.
The performance figures should be slightly better, thanks to the increased power and overall configuration of power delivery for that vehicle. An 8-speed Sport Automatic transmission which includes steering wheel-mounted paddle shifters is used to make the shifts fast and effortless, producing a great driving experience.
An Adaptive M Suspension with electronically controlled damper is exclusively tuned for the M235i models, ensuring better control and an easier high-performance handling. Advanced safety features like Dynamic Stability Control (DSC), including Brake Fade Compensation, Start-off Assistant, Brake Drying, and Brake Stand-by features with Dynamic Traction Control (DTC) can be found within this vehicle as well.
