The first generation BMW 1 Series is one of our favorite BMW cars. Sleek design, gorgeous lines and the overall proportions are just perfect.
Weight distribution is the typical BMW 50-50 giving the car a dynamic driving. With powerful powerplants like the N54 biturbo inline-6 engine installed in the BMW E82 135i you also get high-performance numbers in this gorgeous package.
According to the BMW’s website the 135i Coupé accelerates from 0–100 km/h (62 mph) in 5.3 seconds, however Car and Driver magazine recorded 4.7 seconds for 0-60 mph acceleration, and a quarter mile time of 13.3 seconds at 106 mph (171 km/h).
Top speed is electronically limited to 250 km/h (155.3 mph).
This car pretty much redefines the dynamic driving in this vehicle class, while the six-speed manual or optional 7-speed dual-clutch transmission allows for better utilization of this vivid and aggressive twin-turbo engine.
When modifying a vehicle like this, less is more. This Alpine White BMW E82 135i received a set of VMR 702 wheels sized 18 inches front and rear, that’s combined with a finish that has a brushed aluminum face with matte gunmetal lips combination.
Please take a look at the build photoshoot right below, as this BMW 135i features some additional carbon fiber aftermarket parts as well.
