Shortly before the BMW 1 Series facelift comes to market in March 2015, Munich will celebrate their 2014 DTM victory with a new model, BMW 1 Series DTM Sport Edition.
The special edition will honor the DTM champion Marco Wittmann and will be offered for the F20 1 Series hatch.
People who already ordered a BMW 1 Series F20 with M Sport Package will receive an extremely attractive offer: the price is reduced, regardless of the engine, by 2,900 euros. The usual M Sport package is no longer available from November 2014 and will be replaced by the BMW 1 Series DTM Sport Edition.
In concrete terms, the new M Sport package from November 2014 will come with additional 18-inch light-alloy wheels Star-spoke style 386 M – the 17 inch version star-spoke 383 M is not available anymore – as well as xenon headlights and interior trim in high-gloss black finish with a bright accent trim in Oxide Silver.
Visually, the BMW 1 Series DTM Sport Edition will not be different than the current M Sport Package, so expect the same dynamic design. The price point for the new DTM Sport package will be a few hundred euros cheaper than the current M Sport pack.
