Car And Driver issues their 10Best Cars list for 2015. Released each and every year, the list showcases some of the best cars the magazine has driven in the current year in the US. This year, BMW has cracked the list with the BMW M235i as their only entry.
“They cost less than $80,000, they excel at delivering value for the money, they have a strong mastery of their segment, and they are graceful in motion,” says the magazine.” These 10 will entertain and delight any driver, but only if you know how and where to spot them.” The highly innovative BMW i3 is missing from the list with the only electric vehicle being the Tesla Model S 60.
BMW M235i made its market debut earlier this year and it fills a gap left by the outgoing 1 Series Coupe. Until the M2 arrives next year, the M235i Coupe is the best and most affordable BMW two-door coupe that money can buy and makes for a perfect machine on the road and track.

The BMW M team has massaged the chassis with M Adaptive suspension added M Sport braking system as well as an M235i specific exhaust. BMW says that the M235i has a specially tuned exhaust and in our own test drive of the car we found the M235i Coupe’s exhaust to provide a compellingly raspy sound when the engine is worked hard. The M235i carries a base MSRP of $44,050 and if you go crazy with the options, then the M235i can easily jump over the $50,000 mark.
We do however congratulate Car And Driver for utilizing some pretty promising values for the cars they considered: – all this, even though we may not agree with everything, does allow Car And Driver to make a good argument about the cars they’ve picked and which to look forward to on the roads in 2015 as well.
