A new drag race comes from Sweden, this time between a tuned BMW F10 M5 and a stock version of the BMW M6 Gran Coupe model. Both cars are powered by a 4.4 liter V8 TwinTurbo and in standard format, they both output 560 hp and 500 lb-ft of torque. But, the M6 Gran Coupe is slightly heavier than the F10 M5: 4,430 ls vs 4,387 lbs.
In the drag race, the F10 M5 brings to the fight a tune from Burger Motorsports. The ECU mapping now gives the F10 M5 an additional 50 hp and 88 lb-ft of torque, which should put it ahead of the M6 Gran Coupe in straight line.
The M6 Gran Coupe comes stock with only the top speed being raised to 189 mph (305 km/h).
So which one will take the win on straight line? Let’s find out.
