Slovenia-based exhaust maker, Akrapovic, was delighted to receive a visit to its factor from Ducati’s MotoGP star Andrea Dovizioso and the 2014 DTM champion Marco Wittmann.
The surprise guests made the journey to see the work that goes into the exhausts for their racing machines and to take the opportunity to thank the workers for the great support they’ve both received. The “fast duo” were the stars of this year’s bike and racing cars championships and will return to their teams in the Spring.
Dovizioso and Wittmann met the company owner, Igor Akrapovic, and CEO Uros Rosa, before their surprise visit to the workers’ assembly.
Akrapovic gave the duo an in-depth exclusive tour of the state-of-art- Slovenian company’s high-tech premises. They were taken through the entire production process —from the raw product state right through to the finished system in the company’s extensive testing department.
This was Dovizioso’s first visit to the Akrapovic factory, while Wittmann was on his second trip to the company’s headquarters.
