The December 2014 sales are in and BMW managed to deliver to its customers over 1,000 i3 units – more exactly, 1,013.
The total BMW i3 sales in 2014 in the U.S. came to 6,092 units; first i3 models were delivered in April. In November 2014, BMW sold 816 i3 models, but the highest selling month is October when BMW delivered 1,159 electric vehicles.
For 2015, the BMW i3 models in the U.S. will get new standard features and options, such as heated seats and DC Fast charging (standard).
At the 2015 CES and Detroit Auto Show, BMW will announce new updates to its electric charging infrastructure and a suite of new ConnectedDrive features for the i3 and i8 models.
