The BMW E60 M5 needs a new mention in our tuning series. One of the greatest M5s of all time is also the last M car to feature the great V10 naturally-aspirated engine, so naturally, it remains a darling or the BMW community.
This E60 M5 went to the body shop for a wheel upgrade. The folks over at HRE Wheels offered to the customer their HRE RS100 in Brushed Dark Clear.
Wheels Boutique installed the set of HRE Performance Wheels for this customer. These wheels come in sizes of 21×9.5 and 21×11.5 front and rear respectively. They are wrapped around in Michelin Pilot Sport Tires, sized 255/30/21 in the front ant 295/25/21 in the rear.
Wheels seen here follow the mesh spoke design, giving the old school look for this high-performance model and providing a welcome change compared to the stock wheels. The finish works well with the dark exterior paint job of the M5.
It’s worth noting that the BMW E60 M5 is the highest selling M5 so far! 20,548 units were sold worldwide while featuring groundbreaking performance, speed and overall appeal. The Engine of the Year award-winning S85 engine produces 373 kW (500 hp) and 520 Nm (380 lb-ft) of torque.
A complete photoshoot showcasing this build was done by Keenan Warner, so please take a look at the media gallery we’ve added below.
