The new MINI Clubman F54 takes to the stage as a racing car in Gran Turismo 6. The Playstation game will be available in March.
After the BMW Vision Gran Turismo virtual car, this is the second virtual racing cars for BMW Group for Sony’s PlayStation. The racing version of the MINI Clubman comes with virtual 395 hp and brings the power to the road thanks to the All4 all-wheel drive system. The sprint from 0 to 100 comes in 3.5 seconds and the maximum rush the pixels can push on the screen is 290 km / h.
Even if the new MINI Clubman is much wider than its predecessor, the series vehicles should not be nearly as brutal on the asphalt as the MINI Clubman Vision Gran Turismo is for the PlayStation.
The combination of LED headlamps, 22-inch wheels and Cyber Silver color will probably be not available in the foreseeable future series cars.
Anders Warming (Head of MINI Design): “MINI is celebrating great many highly emotional motorsport successes. The MINI Clubman Vision Gran Turismo transfers it literally on the virtual track in Gran Turismo 6. The image of a go kart on the street inspires us again and again.”
Christopher Weil (Head of MINI Exterior Design): “The MINI Clubman GT Vision combines all defining design features of MINI and displays them in its sportiest and most exciting form ever seen in a MINI.”
