G-Power takes their BMW M4 on a sprint test from 0 to 300 km/h. Even though the standard BMW M4 has a top speed of 250 km/h, or 280 km/h with the M Drivers Package, the tuning specialists at G-Power offer customers a higher top speed. For a relatively low price of 799 euros, G-Power can modify the engine control unit (ECU) to not only deliver more power but also higher top speeds.
G-Power has created the Bi-Tronik 5 V1 system for the M3/M4 working with the base 3.0 liter twin-turbocharged six-cylinder engine. From the standard 425 hp, the tuner managed to raise the power output to 520 hp between 5500 and 7300 rpm as well as 700 Nm of torque from 1850 and 5500 rpm. That torque increase represents a 150 Nm jump.
The G-Power BMW M3 and M4 can now sprint to 100 km/h in 3.9 seconds and to 200 km/h in 11.8 seconds.
