As part of its world premiere, the new BMW 2 Series Gran Tourer is introduced at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show with the M Sport Package. Together with, the once reserved for particularly sporty BMWs, Estoril Blue Metallic color, perhaps the most practical of BMW of all time looks quite dynamic, despite the minivan proportions.
The car also features 18-inch alloy wheels double spoke 486 M – both the color and the wheels are only available for M Sport models.
Like all BMW M Sport Packages, the one found on the BMW 2 Series Gran Tourer comes with M aerodynamics parts, like the modified aprons and sills. Large air intakes shape the front bumper and the kidney grille is painted in high-gloss black. At the rear, a contrasting diffuser emphasizes the width of the vehicle while the tailpipe trims in high gloss chrome complete the sporty look.
The sporty package, in addition to the 17 or 18 inch wheels, include the BMW Individual high-gloss Shadow Line, the M sports suspension and numerous M elements for the interior.
Inside, the M Sport package features sports seats, sports steering wheel, M shifter and a seat cover fabric, and Alcantara with blue accents.
Prices for BMW 2 Series Gran Tourer with M Sport Package start at 32,920 euros.
