On May 22nd, at the Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este, BMW will unveil a new concept car. The BMW 3.0 CSL Hommage pays tribute to the classic BMW 3.0 CSL, an icon of the 70s and one of the best racing cars ever built.
The new 3.0 CSL Hommage combines the classic design of the original 3.0 CSL with new design cues. The design of the 3.0 CSL Hommage delivers improved aerodynamics, thanks to the rear and roof spoilers. The flared fenders also pay tribute to the original CSL and gives the car enhanced sporty looks.
The sculpted surfaces and the use of carbon fiber materials highlight the lightness of the 3.0 CSL Hommage. Inside, BMW designers have adopted a minimalistic look with high premium materials which give the cabin a sporty, elegant and light look.
The Hommage draws on the character of the earlier model and endows it with cutting-edge materials to translate it into the present in a new and exciting guise.
