Originally presented at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show, the AC Schnitzer AC1 wheels collection gets a new photo update. Seen below are several wheel options for BMW cars, including the new 2 Series Cabriolet, the X4 and 4 Series Gran Coupe.
The AC Schnitzer AC1 wheels are available in 18, 19, 20, 21, 22 and even 23 inches, in the anthracite and two-tone colors. The design presents itself as a variation of the classic double spoke with the struts converging towards the wheel lip and a trapezoid shape in the center of the wheel. In the middle of it, AC Schnitzer placed a pentagonal hub cap with their famous logo.
In addition to the AC1 wheels, the German tuning shop also offers a 20 inch version of a lightweight forged wheel. These wheels weigh 10 to 10.5 kilograms each, or about 30 percent less weight than the conventional cast wheel, therefore ensuring a significant reduction of the unsprung masses.
Available in 21, 22 and 23 inch sizes, an AC1 three-piece forged wheel can be used for racing. The different variants of the alloy wheels fit virtually all current models of BMW and MINI.
