BMW Car Club of America announces that a BMW M Concept car will be unveiled at this year’s Legends of the Autobahn. On Friday, August 14, BMW will hold the first public showing of a new M model exclusively to participants and attendees of Legends of the Autobahn.
According to BMW CCA, BMW has not revealed which car will be brought to the Legend’s lawn.
Earlier this week, BMW announced that to celebrate of its 40th anniversary, it will unveil two world premier concept cars during its annual press conference at the BMW Villa in Pebble Beach. Public showings are also planned for The Quail, A Motorsport Gathering, Legends of the Autobahn Concours d’Elegance, Rolex Monterey Motorsport Reunion and Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance.
BMW has yet to announce which concept cars will debut at Pebble Beach, but judging by the list of BMW experts presented to the media – which includes an executive for BMW M – we believe one of the cars will be the M4 GTS.
BMW also teased us with a sketch of a sports steering wheel with the M colors stitching, another indication that an M car will debut there.
