BMW will be unveiling their new Scrambler model tomorrow, but today Ducati has unveiled the newest addition to their Scrambler sub-brand, the Scrambler Sixty2.
Though this new model is a Scrambler, its closest competitors are BMW’s new G 310 R and KTM’s 390 Duke. The Sixty2’s air cooled engine produces 41hp and the new bike has a dry weight of 167kg. Ducati says that this new model was inspired by “youth culture.”
The price for the new bambino is $7,995 which is substantially higher than the $4,999 KTM 390 Duke.
There is no word yet as to how much the new BMW G 310 R will cost but it is speculated that the BMW will too be priced higher than its Austrian rival, however, it is highly unlikely that it will be anywhere near the cost of the Ducati.
