The BMW M2 coverage continues today with a new photo gallery from the legendary Laguna Seca race track. The BMW M2 International Media Launch is still ongoing and new journalists have the chance to play with the new “baby-M”. This latest photo gallery showcases over 200 images featuring burnouts and drifts aboard the M2 Coupe.
Just last week, BMWBLOG had the chance to track and drift – a bit – the new M2.
The M2’s 370 hp 3.0 liter turbocharged I6 makes it devilishly fast, getting from 0-60 in just over four seconds and its 343 lb-ft of torque (369 lb-ft for temporary overboost) allows it to roast its rear tires on command. The M2 looks great, it’s incredible fun and amazingly fast on the race track.
The 2016 BMW M2 will be available at authorized BMW centers starting at $51,700 plus Destination and Handling starting in April 2016.
