At the 2016 Geneva Motor Show, German tuning shop AC Schnitzer will unveil a new model. Dubbed ACL2, the sporty two-door coupe is said to be based on the M235i and featuring a wide body kit and a huge rear wing. The car was spotted in Germany being transported to an unknown location, just a day before AC Schnitzer released a teaser video.

Sources say the engine was tuned up to deliver around 570 horsepower which will make the ACL2 one of the fastest compact sports coupe on the market.

The obvious very wide flared wheel arches seem to be even wider than those on the BMW M2 which leads us believe that ACL2 features a revised chassis technology, and other tuning to turn this into a real track car.

The Additional aero Flaps on the front apron will help with cooling, while the dramatically reduced and extremely streamlined exterior mirrors will improve the aerodynamics.

Behind the two-tone wheels designed in typical AC Schnitzer, we can detect a generously sized braking system.
