After the BMW M6 GT3 was seen pacing around a track in Australia a few days ago, another race car was taped doing laps at an Italian track. The drivers for the BMW Team Italia are Roberto Ravaglia, Alberto Cerqui and Stefano Comandini racing for ‘Campionato Italiano’ and Stefano Colombo, Max Koebolt together with Giorgio Roda driving the car for Blancpain.
Featuring a healthy dose of track-oriented performance derived from a series-produced engine with M TwinPower Turbo technology, the BMW M6 GT3 is a powerful track beast. Moreover, with its centrally-positioned driver’s seat and long wheelbase, the BMW M6 GT3 offers a driving feeling unparalleled on the racing scene. This is why many privately owned racing teams are choosing it, even though it comes with a hefty price – 379,000 Euros.
The BMW M6 GT3 weighs less than 1,300 kilograms and the transaxle drive concept, sequential six-speed racing gearbox and body aerodynamics are optimized in the BMW wind tunnel making it the perfect race car.
