Even though the BMW M2 debuted in January at the Detroit Auto Show and was consequently displayed at other car shows around the world, it still remains one of the main attractions on the show floors at the 2016 New York Auto Show.
Displayed in the Long Beach Blue color, the M2 stands out with its aggressive body lines, compact dimensions and premium features, all packaged at a very attractive price – $51,700.
The M2’s 370 hp 3.0 liter turbocharged I6 makes it devilishly fast, getting from 0-60 in just over four seconds and its 343 lb-ft of torque (369 lb-ft for temporary overboost) allows it to roast its rear tires on command. The M2 looks great, it’s incredible fun and amazingly fast on the race track. As we’ve witnessed last month at Laguna Seca.
