Guy Martin and his Tyco BMW Superbike take on David Coulthard and a Red Bull RB8 Formula 1 car in a series of head-to-head challenges including a drag race, a brake test, a slalom and a circuit race. The showdown takes place at the legendary F1 track Silverstone.
The Red Bull RB8 Formula 1 car is the same one that won the constructors’ championship in 2012 and gave Sebastian Vettel the championship crown. The RB8 won 7 out of 20 races and got on the podium a grand total of 14 times during the 2012 season. So this is arguably one of the best Formula 1 cars ever built.
Martin rides on a Tyco BMW Superbike based on a BMW S 1000 RR, so this is far from a fair fight. But to make things more interesting, Coulthard agrees to complete four laps before Martin passes the checkered flag three times.
