Fitting a V10 engine in a BMW 1 Series hatchback is a monumental task, but once accomplished, the little hot hatch takes its performance to a whole new level. This BMW E87 1 Series hatchback received a 5.0 liter V10 engine which in standard form outputs 507 horsepower and 520 Nm (384 lb-ft). The engine is matted to an SMG transmission.
But the owner of this 1er hatch didn’t stop here. With the help of the folks at KJ-Performance, the car now delivers 750 horsepower thanks to a G-POWER Bi-Compressor kit.
This BMW 150i G-POWER participated during SCC500 event ‘Rolling50 Deutsche Meisterschaft’ on Dekra Highspeed Oval Lausitzring, Germany. This event is all about drag racing. 400m, a rolling start at 50km/h and doing head-to-head drag races against other cars.
