This weekend we had the pleasure of getting a glimpse of what the guys from Manhart Racing are preparing for BMW M2 models. And while we were initially impressed with the color they decided to go with, we noticed almost immediately that others have taken a keen interest in it recently as well. The guys from European Auto Source have created a BMW F80 M3 that was also dressed in Sunburst Gold Metallic paint.
Unlike the BMW M2 from Manhart, though, we do know the entire list of upgrades this BMW received.
The performance figures of this M3 have also been drastically improved. The BMW M3 received an Eventuri Carbon Fiber Air Intake system to go with the ESS Tuning E-Tronic which bumps the power figure by 60 WHP and 60 lb-ft of torque. To make sure everything goes smoothly after the power bump, an Akrapovic exhaust was added to the mix.
On the visual side of things you’ll notice HRE FF15 wheels wrapped in Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires replaced the stock ones as well as the KW Clubsport setup that lowered the car’s height for better handling. Hiding behind the new rims is a Brembo GT Big Brake kit which will stop the car on a dime. Up front, Trophy S1 splitter will be cutting grass whenever possible while a Trophy R2 rear diffuser and an M Performance spoiler complete the package.
