BMW Japan celebrates the 100th anniversary of the brand with another special model. The BMW 6 Series Gran Coupe “Exclusive Sport” Celebration Edition is limited to 33 copies and it’s already the twelfth Japanese special edition for the brand jubilee in 2016. The BMW 6 Series Gran Coupe Celebration Edition Exclusive Sport is a 640i with M Sport package and some popular special equipment. If you are interested in it, the configuration can also easily be ordered outside of the 33 special models.
The Celebration Edition, of course, has its appeal. The BMW 6 Series Gran Coupe has lost none of its charm even a year after the market launch of the facelift.
The Japanese Celebration Edition Exclusive Sport is lacquered in Sapphire Black Metallic, carries the 20-inch M alloy wheels 373 M and, of course, the aprons of the M Sport package. The inline-six cylinder of the BMW 640i Gran Coupe offers 320 hp and 450 Newton Meters of torque and is standard combined with ZF’s proven eight-speed automatic transmission.
The cabin comes with a special edition two-color nappa leather trim in the cognac and black colors, while the dashboard was also dressed up in higher quality materials. Contrast stitching and the interior trim with black piano lacquer finish emphasize the high standards of the four-door luxury coupe. Special equipment such as the Harman Kardon Soundsystem with 600 watt amplifier power, two central basses and 16 loudspeakers round off the package sound.
