I don’t know who is in charge of the new BMW M ads that are running wild right now, but I love them to bits. Recently BMW decided to change the pace a little and try and have a bit more fun with the image of its M division, rightfully claiming that have too much of an attribute certainly is a subjective matter.
We’ve seen their new ads tackle various subjects so far, from cars riding too low to their interior being just too clean to smudge with ice cream. Today we’re taking a look at the so-called – according to some – immature people around us. You know, those people who actually spend a lot of money on their cars so that they can somehow have fun in them?
Yeah, it’s a concept that seems to have been forgotten recently; a concept that doesn’t really ring a bell anymore, as people are more concerned about MPGfigures and reliability studies rather than actually getting behind the wheel and having some fun. But what about the rest of us? What about those who love to listen to a good engine sound and love to just sit in the driver’s seat for hours, watching the world go by?
Well, it looks like BMW M didn’t forget about us and the latest commercial from the Motorsport division is absolute gold. It shows a father picking up his kid from school in a beautiful BMW M3 Competition Package model. So far, nothing out of the ordinary, right? Well, let’s see what being immature means, when you have 450 PS at your disposal and a kid that can’t wait to climb aboard.
