The BMW X2 is the latest crossover to come from Bavaria and it’s also the smallest and most youthful. It’s the car designed to bring in a younger, more active customer, one that might have a young family. While some enthusiasts bemoan the existence of another front-wheel drive BMW crossover, many young BMW enthusiasts are rejoicing the idea of another affordable yet exciting BMW. Mated to that engine is a seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox that routes power to all four wheels. Enthusiasts will scoff at the idea of it being front-drive-based but under 90 percent of driving circumstances, no one will be able to notice. Plus, BMW’s front-drive xDrive is great at routing power to the necessary axle. In fact, we expect the BMW X2 to be quite fun.
