BMW UK announced a new edition of the popular M140i hatchback. Dubbed BMW M140i Championship Edition, the new limited model celebrates BMW’s two titles in last year’s BTCC (British Touring Car Championship) – BMW took the championship for both Manufacturers and Teams.
To all intents and purposes this would appear to be a regular 340hp M140i three-door, although without a full spec yet confirmed we can’t be sure. One thing that’s obvious though on the limited edition is the addition of BMW Motorsport stripes with Championship Edition branding.
Other additions include black wheels and black kidney grilles, along with carbon fiber mirror caps, chrome inserts in the front fascia and a set of M Performance brakes.
The new M140 is being built for 30 customers with pricing to be announced in the near future.
