Belgium-based BMW dealer Jean-Michel Martin returns with another exciting project. After we’ve seen the BMW i8 First Edition and the Nardo Grey ALPINA B3 S Touring, the dealer now gives us a unique F80 M3 Sedan project. The car has the nameplate No.1 out of 10 “Manufactur Edition” which are all painted in rare and unique BMW Individual colors.
In this case, the F80 M3 is painted in the beautiful Fire Orange II, a color made famous years ago by the E92 M3 GTS and refined over the years. Inside, the very same special orange color can be seen throughout the finishes, like the double stitching Fire Orange II on the dashboard, door handles and inside panels, on the seats and armrest.
To make this project even more special, the F80 M3 was fitted with the Competition Package which delivers an additional 19 horsepower (450 instead of 431), a 0 to 62 time of 4 seconds flat instead of 4.1, updated driving modes and differential, exclusive lightweight sports seats, unique rims and black details.
With the Competition Package and 20 inch wheels, the car is on the limit of what one actually can live with.
Many journalists have said that the BMW M3 with the Competition Package turns the M3 from a hooligan with a thirst for mischief to a hooligan with an ankle bracelet. The Competition Package tightens up the experience and if you’re shopping for the M3 there is no reason not to buy it.
And especially when you pair it with some beautiful color finishes from BMW Individual, the choice is seen more obvious.
