Using the headquarters as their main stage, BMW reintroduces to the world their high-end luxury class of cars. The marketing campaign of the luxury family started with the BMW 7 Series facelift, a model that has taken the automotive world by storm with its polarizing design.
Next to the 7 Series BMW introduced their 8 Series lineup which now consists of the Coupe, Convertible and Gran Coupe model. The two-door 8 Series model was developed alongside the long-distance racing car BMW M8 GTE, so it naturally has a sporty character.
The 8 Series Convertible fills a niche where customers enjoy the open-air pleasure with a dynamic driving experience. September 2019 will see the arrival of the third member of the model series – the four-door BMW 8 Series Gran Coupe.
Once the jewel of the BMW i Division, the BMW i8 is now part of the luxury segment at BMW. Both the i8 Coupe and i8 Roadster offer one of the most exotic designs ever offered by BMW, coupled with an innovative carbon fiber platform. The plug-in hybrid technology can deliver a fuel consumption of 2.0 liter per 100 km/h, along with an all-electric drive, when needed.
As of September 2019, BMW’s M Division will contribute to the luxury class with their own products. The new BMW M8 Coupe and the new BMW M8 Convertible offer luxurious driving pleasure coupled with maximum performance both on the road and on the racetrack.
Furthermore, in November 2019, the Los Angeles Auto Show will be the setting for the world premiere of the new BMW M8 Gran Coupe.
