Part of a wide selection of custom colors, the Frozen Blue paint job is seldom seen and often liked. It’s a matte finish BMW offered with the BMW E92 M3 and the color matches perfectly the gorgeous body lines offered with that M3. It is, yet again, a project done by European Auto Source known for their wide range of BMW custom parts and projects.
Frozen finishes is part of a last hoorah for the E92 M3 generation, a series of 150 units worldwide built in either Blue, Red or White, priced at $76,395 in North America. Nothing special was done with either performance or the interior of the vehicle.
This particular M3 was at EAS a couple of times. In this current form, it has a bevvy of aftermarket additions installed. Most notable here are the carbon fiber details and touches. It all starts with a LTMW Custom 1M Front Bumper which is a popular aftermarket part that BMW enthusiast will recall. It’s a custom piece, molded specially to accomodate some design aspects of the BMW 1M.
Next we have a set of Mode Carbon Carbon Fiber Side Skirt Extensions, followed by a BMW Performance Carbon Fiber Rear Spoiler and a Downforce USA Carbon Fiber 3-Piece Rear Diffuser, all made from carbon. All of the parts seen here fit seamlessly with the Frozen Blue exterior.
Details like a GMG Motorsports No Holes License Plate Bracket, Macht Schnell Motorsport Tow Strap and custom ///M badges on the front fascia make this such an interesting project. It also serves to point out that small touches can make or break a build.
The exterior modifications are wrapped up with a set of Forgestar CF5V wheels. These come with a set of Macht Schnell Competition Wheel Spacers (5mm Rear). The car is also lowered with the KW Variant 3 coilovers.
Finally, this E92 M3 received some power upgrades as well. It includes an MXP Mevius Exhaust System, together with a Macht Schnell Stainless Steel Race X-Pipe (Catless), all completed with an ESS E-Flash ECU Performance Tune, providing the necessary performance increase.
