One of the undisputed stars of the 2014 Essen Motor Show 2014 is without doubt the BMW i8 by tuning shop Manhart. The plug-in hybrid sports car comes to the popular tuning show with a new paint job. The matte yellow accents are paired with the Sophisto Grey factory color.
Another eye-catcher are the Manhart wheels for the BMW i8, which are a sporty alternative to the three available factory alloy wheels. Thanks to a sport suspension tuning, the Manhart BMW i8 was lowered by 30 millimeters at the front and rear axle.
The German tuning shop says that a performance increase is in works as well.
The 362-hp plug-in hybrid sports car accelerates in 4.4 seconds from 0 to 100 km / h, but shines in the EU cycle with an average fuel consumption of 2.1 liters per 100 kilometers. The worldwide demand for the BMW i8 is huge and BMW is considering an expansion of production capacity. Currently, some customers have to wait up to 18 months for their car to be delivered.
