BMW and PUMA have had a strong partnership since 2012 which includes apparel and sportswear, motorsport sponsorship, and event co-production. This years sportswear collaboration has produced a range of apparel from sneakers to jackets and track pants to polos. The line for spring featured blues and reds from the iconic M Motorsport badge which is represented throughout the collection.
Every year the collaboration puts out a couple of new pieces, last year there were matching track suits and high top sneakers. Like last year PUMA designed and created all driver and team uniforms. This year the line takes a more minimalist approach with streamlines backpacks and sleek sneakers. The hoodies and t-shirts have a retro color block look while the backpacks are more about aerodynamics rather than functionality.
The partnership between BMW and PUMA is not limited to clothing and apparel, since 2012 PUMA has been a sponsor of the BMW Motorsport division. Both companies are verbally huge fans of the other with BMW Motorsport’s Director Jens Marquardt saying “We are really please to continue our successful partnership with PUMA, it’s an exciting time to be working with the brand under their new Forever Faster brand platform.”
