A bit over two months ago, the guys from Manhart Racing unveiled what could possibly be the most hardcore MINI JCW we got to see so far. Their creation dubbed F300 took the 2-liter 4-cylinder turbocharged engine under the hood to new heights and, of course, 300 HP, as the name already suggests.

The new horsepower figures were attained by installing a new ECU map for the engine as well as a new exhaust system that would deal with the extra fumes. As you can imagine, the new exhaust changed completely the sound of the car and the JCW is now a proper beast on the road. The ones in charge of developing this new exhaust were the guys from Remus.

Other changes done to the car include a new suspension, new wheels from Manhart as well as a new paint scheme that falls more in line with what Manhart has to offer and not what MINI wanted for the JCW in the first place. Needless to say that with the new power output, 300 HP and 470 Nm (347 lb-ft) of torque, the front-wheel drive car is now a monster that will tear through tires at a rapid pace.

Unfortunately, we don’t have official acceleration figures for the upgraded car from Manhart but considering the stock JCW model goes from zero to 62 mph in 6.1 or 6.3 seconds (depending on the transmission) we reckon this thing should go down under the 6-second margin by quite a bit.
