This BMW E90 M3 project by European Auto Source screams JDM out of its every pore. And frankly, it looks good. The build features the standard selection of aftermarket aero parts, combined with a statement setting set of JDM style wheels.
With the release of the BMW F80 M3 as the newest M3 model, the E92 M3 takes the backstage but to purists, it’s still one of the best M3s ever built. And likely the best tuning bed.
The BMW E90 M3 Sedan is powered by the award-winning 4.0 liter V8 engine which delivers 414 horsepower and 295 lb-ft (400 Nm) of torque at 3900 rpm. In turn, this allows the M3 to accelerate from 0-62mph (0-100km/h) in 4.1 seconds. The vehicle will achieve a top speed of 155mph (250km/h). For some, the appeal of the screaming, high-revving V8 is the sweetest thing about this M3 – alongside its impressive performance.
For this M3, the owner decided to add the MFactory carbon fiber drive shaft. Made from CFRP, this component channels the engine’s torque from the gearbox to the rear differential and works under extremely heavy loads – especially in high-performance vehicles.
With tuning in mind, the owner of this Silverstone Metallic beauty also added a set of custom aftermarket wheels. These TE37RT wheels are one of the most known wheel designs out there.
Furthermore, the RT in TE37RT stands for “Rigid Tune” offering up to 6 percent more rigidity in the inner rim while retaining the same weight. The Volk RTs also feature a machined “Volk Racing” original logo and a machined rim edge, completing the gorgeous wheel design.
Additionally, the owner went with a set of RDSports lowering springs. These improve the vehicle’s cornering performance, bring it more to the ground and consequently, improve the vehicle’s stance. The additional details include the BMW M Performance carbon fiber front splitters, the BMW M Performance carbon fiber mirror caps and the BMW M Performance gloss black kidney grille as well.
