Even though the next BMW F90 M5 isn’t out yet, we do know most of the details about the car, and the general consensus is that it will be a fast car. And yet, that didn’t stop one brave Youtuber from trying to race it on the Nurburgring, using a considerably less powerful car.
The Toyota GT86 is a fun little car, but nowhere near what the M5 brings to the table. As a matter of fact, the Toyobaru is known around the enthusiast world as a car that doesn’t have the most efficient transmission in the world, real-life readings showing that the wheels can get at as low as 140 HP instead of the 200 HP quoted by the manufacturer.
Nevertheless, Boosted Boris is not one to back off from a fight and since he basically lives on the Nurburgring, he took the first chance he got to go up against the uber-sedan from BMW. The result of that attempt can be seen in the video posted below and if you don’t want to go through his whole day, just skip to 10:53 when the M5 makes its first appearance.
On the track, little can be said about the effort put in by Boris. Sure, he did his best but in the end, his best wasn’t nearly enough to keep up with the BMW M model. As various sources already told us, the new M5 will come with over 600 HP thanks to the revised S63 4.4-liter twin-turbo engine under its hood and it will be a proper land missile. Therefore we can’t wait to see how the production model will do once it’s set loose on the Green Hell. Until then, we can enjoy watching this prototype out at play.
