2019 is here and the folks at BMW Abu Dhabi are starting the new year on a good and daring note. Over the years, they have put together some interesting and unique projects, that pushed the envelope when it came to the aftermarket industry and to the BMW Individual Manufaktur. This time, the subject of their unique creation was the BMW M760Li sedan, the M Performance Automobile of the 7 Series family which delivers performances worthy of a sportscar.
The flagship BMW limousine receives the Purple Silk paint from BMW Individual, a unique shade which might not be everyone’s cup of tea. Yet, in this configuration – with the beige and black interior – it’s simply stunning. On the outside, the M760Li was also equipped with Laser Lights – for a more premium look – and with grey inserts in the front and rear bumper.
Inside, the pricey limousine comes with a premium beige leather on the seats, while the dashboard and upper area of the doors are covered in double-stitched leather. A dark wood trim is used all around, to justify the car’s premium look and price.
No other modifications were done to the M760Li, which means it continues to produce 601 horsepower and 800 Nm (590 lb-ft) from its 6.6 liter V12 engine – the largest displacement in the BMW lineup. Despite its size and weight – around 5,000 lbs – the M760Li manages to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 3.9 seconds, with a top speed of 250 km/h (155 mph). All that power and fury is sent to all wheels via the ZF 8-speed automatic transmission.
In the United States, the 2019 BMW M760Li long-wheelbase is offered, while other markets are also getting the short-wheelbase M760i as well. The starting price is $156,700, but with options and extra packages, it can easily jump to over $180,000.
