The world’s only BMW 1M with an individual paint in Java Green Metallic is up for sale. The compact sports car was presented to us seven years ago as one of the only four in the world to ever receive an official BMW Individual treatment. The uniquely named Green Mamba 1M is the 6328th out of a total of 6331 BMW 1M models and was first registered in July 2012.
In the last seven years, the fully equipped BMW 1 Series M Coupe has covered around 46,000 kilometers. According to the owner, the vehicle was not used on the racetrack, driven only in the summer and parked in a garage. The 340 hp Green Mamba is accident-free, with a full service record.
This BMW 1 Series M Coupe not only features the aforementioned individual livery, but also the M Power embroidery on the handbrake handle, along with a chromium black chrome trim, the wheels of the M3 GTS and the darkened rear lights.
For Bimmertoday, owner and driver Steffen Krebs explains the background of the sale:
“The Green Mamba is a heart project, for its implementation I had to fight hard at that time: actually individual paint jobs were categorically excluded for the 1 Series M Coupe. After a total of 13 months of persuasion, we finally found a solution that is absolutely unique to this day. For my Green Mamba, processes at the Leipzig plant and at suppliers had to be fundamentally changed in order to enable the plant for individual paint finishes.
Since I am usually traveling with other vehicles in everyday life, the Green Mamba is nowadays only rarely moved. In my opinion, it should be moved and seen. Of course I want a buyer who appreciates the special features of this vehicle and finds Java Green at least as powerful as me. ”
